1. Do I need an application photo?
Application photos are not mandatory, but a perfect application photo can be crucial. Swiss personnel departments receive between 100 and 250 applications for an advertised position. A quick pre-selection takes place by means of picture impression. Therefore, show yourself from your best side!
2. How do I prepare for the photo shoot?
Think about your appearance before the photo shoot. Which clothes suit me and the respective position? What about hairstyle, beard growth, make-up, glasses? Ask yourself these questions in advance. Get on the way to the shooting in good time, avoid sweat, stress and too little sleep. A picture is worth a thousand words.
3. How should I dress?
Avoid overdressed or unkempt clothing. Choose your clothes to match the job you are applying for. Pay attention to color choices. Subtle, flashy or dark clothing will have a different effect.
